Jiu Jitsu Brisbane offers two forms of Jiu Jitsu – Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for those who love grappling and wrestling, and a special form of Krav Maga known as Survival Jiu Jitsu for those who want to learn striking, kicking, weapons, ground work, and to defend against multiple attackers. Both are taught by a team of passionate martial artists who love teaching and sharing the knowledge, so no matter your goal, we can help you to achieve it.

Jiu Jitsu Brisbane’s BJJ classes teach students to feel comfortable dealing with every aspect of an attack, standing, on the ground, against strikes, as well as grabs and holds. A key benefit of learning BJJ, is learning to keep calm when faced with difficult situations like these. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art in which technique and leverage is used to beat the strength and power of an aggressor.

Survival Jiu Jitsu was developed as a martial art and self defence system from karate, boxing, kick boxing, japanese jiu jitsu, judo, and kali. Survival Jiu Jitsu aim is simple, to teach you street effective self defence against anything, knives, guns, multiple attackers, on the ground, drunk idiots… While Survival Jiu Jitsu was originally developed for elite military soldiers, through our instructors, who still teach police and military, including the SAS, you can learn these skills too.
